COVID-19 Driver Update

Updated: Nov 5, 2020

Dear drivers,

As the seriousness of COVID-19 becomes increasingly real each day, we want to ensure you that we are doing everything we can to keep our drivers and users safe.

We understand that this will be a difficult time for many of you, with business closures and social distancing putting daily pressure on your livelihood.

What we are doing

As of this moment, VANHEROES is still accepting jobs from users, and we are in talks with local businesses to explore how we can help them as their needs evolve. It is likely we will see an increase in delivery opportunities, so we are doing all we can to keep the offer of work healthy and consistent.

We do, however, understand that many of you will be uncomfortable or unable to accept work in the coming weeks. We would like to make it clear that you are under no obligation to accept work from us, and that you have our full support if this is the case. We have communciated this to our customers to clarify our stance on this and help manage their expectations.

You can read the full customer update here.

What you can do

For those of you still accepting work, we ask that you take the necessary precautions to protect yourself and others from infection. You should always contact customers before carrying out a job to ask if they are showing symptoms, or if there are any vulnerable people in the property. Please be vigilant in self-assessing, and do not accept jobs if you or anyone in your family begins to show symptoms of Coronavirus.

If you are unsure about the precautions you should take, please get in touch with us at and one of our team will be happy to advise.
